The Old Orchard Cottage was built in 1730, and Browns welcomes you to an adults only private, tranquil retreat, with three en-suite four-poster bed Garden Rooms adjacent to the cottage. There is a Garden Terrace, where you can relax, enjoying the surroundings.Browns is situated in the rural hamlet of Holbeck on the Welbeck Country Estate, the ancestral homes of The Dukes of Portland.The peaceful, one acre garden, has resident pheasants, rabbits, numerous wild birds, and in springtime wild ducks, and if you are lucky maybe you will hear a cuckoo in the Spring. Our black cat "Mr. Tom" is often about his garden during the day.

Each three en-suite garden rooms have a differently styled four poster bed. They are decorated to a high standard, have flat screen Freeview television, DVD player, fresh flowers and generous hospitality trays. Room Number One, has a double four-poster bed and shower room, Room Number Two has a super-king size four-poster bed and Room Number Three has a king size four-poster bed, both these two rooms have a bathroom with bathtub, and shower.
Breakfast is served in the dining room, overlooking the garden, and we offer a wide menu choice, using locally sourced produce, where possible. Our breakfasts are served with hot toast, fresh orange juice, a selection of cereals, with seasonal fruits, porridge, and ground coffee, a selection of teas or hot chocolate ."Browns" has The Visit England Breakfast Award.
